There's still a lot we don't understand about the brain and how things like dementia or strokes affect it — could we understand more by digitizing the brain? Randy McIntosh is a senior scientist at the Rotman Research Institute in Toronto, and a lead behind the international project called "the Virtual Brain," which maps out the organ to see how it's affected.
