'I was worried for my safety': Student who wears hijab says McGill is off the table, now moving to Toronto due to Quebec's Bill 21

Earlier this week, Quebec passed a bill that bans religious symbols from certain public offices. Student BarĂ¢a Arar was planning to go to graduate school at McGill University in Montreal, where her mother went to school and where her parents met. But she will now be coming here, to the University of Toronto, and it's because of Bill 21.
