New research on dog bites

The Homestretch

A new study from the University of Calgary finds most serious dog bites happen in the home, and the victims are most often children and seniors. Researchers studied more than 2000 biting incidents in the city over a five year period. Dr. Sylvia Checkley, an associate professor in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Calgary, joins us in studio to talk about the study.
