U of S prof examines the pros and cons of moving ahead with the Trans Mountain pipeline

The Transmountain Pipeline has once again been given the green light by the federal cabinet. The controversial project was halted when the Federal Court of Appeal said Ottawa did not adequately consult Indigenous groups. And that it failed to adequately consider how the expansion would effect marine life off B.C'.s lower mainland. The federal government says it has addressed those concerns. So...is it smooth sailing for the pipeline from here? Greg Poelzer is a political science professor in the School of Environment and Sustainability at the University of Saskatchewan. He spoke with Saskatoon Morning's Jennifer Quesnel.
