The Right to Repair Movement
Manufacturers can make it expensive and difficult to get mobile devices repaired and replaced. So the non-profit, OpenMedia, has started a petition calling for the federal government to put in place "right to repair" legislation. The hope is such a law would get companies to give people the tools they need to repair shattered screens and fix other problems with their electronics. We also heard from Scott Smith who designs farm equipment in Saskatchewan about how this problem is hurting farmers.
