Scientists are releasing miniature wasps in the province to fight the bug that could eat our ash trees

The emerald ash borer has a new enemy in New Brunswick. A shipment of mite wasps arrived last week at a woodlot near Edmundston. The tiny wasp is one of the few known weapons for the destructive ash borer. Chris MacQuarrie is working on the project. He's a forest entomologist at the Great Lakes Forestry Centre in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. He spoke with Jonna Brewer.
