The Chiefs of Ontario conference happening this week in Sault Ste. Marie. Among the hot topics on the agenda is a proposal by the federal government to enshrine Indigenous rights in the constitution. That's something some First Nations leaders say would mean giving up their independence. We heard from two of the chiefs... Dean Sayers, Chief of Batchewana First Nation, which is hosting this week's conference and Gerry Duquette Junior, Chief of Dokis First Nation.
