Today marks the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings.Canadian, British and American troops landed on the Normandy shores opening the final chapter of world war II in Europe. It stands as the largest sea borne invasion in history. As time goes by and more veterans pass on how do we remember and acknowledge their valour and loss? How do the events of world war II still affect us today? We spoke with historian Bill Waiser, Andrea Hall from Historica Canada and we heard from listeners about their personal connection to D-Day.
