Interpreting the Mi'kmaq language in the House of Commons

A New Brunswick man has joined a roster of First Nations interpreters for Indigenous languages. Brian Francis of Elsipogtog will translate Mi'kmaq for the House of Commons, Senate and other committees. He said it's overwhelming to know that his language will be heard and recognized in parliament, and hopefully preserved for future generations.
