Acadian Society applauds court decision protecting equal rights to ambulance service in French and English

In 2018, a labour arbitrator said Ambulance New Brunswick's practice of not filling permanent, full-time positions with unilingual paramedics violated the union contract. Now a judge has ruled against that position, saying relaxing bilingualism rules would violate the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Éric Dow is with the Société de l'Acadie du Nouveau-Brunswick.
