Montreal woman applies for class action lawsuit against opioid manufacturers and distributers

A Montreal woman wants to take on 27 opioid manufacturers and distributors in a proposed class action lawsuit. The woman, who's choosing to remain anonymous, says she became dependent on opioids after being prescribed them by her doctor. She filed an application for a class action lawsuit last week. We speak with Margo Siminovitch, is a lawyer at Fishman Flanz Meland Paquin. She's one of the lawyers representing the class action.
