Managing acute and chronic pain -- A panel of Saskatchewan experts

Blue Sky

One in five people experience chronic pain. Despite it being a common experience there hasn't been that much research into how to help people. We put together a panel of some of the leading pain researchers in Saskatchewan to answer your questions. Guests included Heather Hadjistavropoulos, a professor in Psychology at the University of Regina who developed an online cognitive behavioural therapy program for people with chronic pain. Robert Laprairie, a cannabis researcher and Assistant Professor in the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, Susan Tupper is a consultant on pain management and research with the Saskatoon Health Region.
