'Elusive' freshwater Alaska seals one of a kind, says study
Iliamana Lake in Alaska is home to an elusive group of seals, the United States' only known population of freshwater seals. New research has found the seals are one of a kind, suggesting special conservation efforts may be needed to protect them. Sean Brennan is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Washington. He joined Trailbreaker host Loren McGinnis to share more about the findings.
