Quebec's secularism bill could have public health ramifications, say researchers

A team of researchers has released a study about the potential public health risks associated with Bill 21, the CAQ's bill on religious symbols. The study was conducted by the university research group SHERPA - which is funded in part by the Quebec Health and Social Services Ministry. We speak with Ghayda Hassan, who worked on the study. She is a psychology professor at UQAM and director of the Canadian Practioners Network on Prevention of Violent Radicalisation.
