Researcher Tessa Plint on the pre-historic giant beaver

Fresh Air

They were around at the time of the woolly mammoth, but the Giant Beaver went the same way. New research has some interesting answers on what happened to this prehistoric animal. Tessa Plint is a graduate of the Department of Earth Sciences at Western University and now researching for PhD at Heriot-Watt University in the UK.
