100 years ago this week, the city of Winnipeg would grind to a halt. The Winnipeg General Strike began on May 15th, 1919. Before it was all over, 2 people were dead, scores were injured, and for many, life would never be the same. The strike would last 6 weeks and touch tens of thousands of people.
