For many people, spring and summer means getting outside hiking, camping or just hanging out.But increasingly enjoying the outdoors also includes the risk of being bitten by a tick. While most tick bites are harmless there is a chance of picking up a disease if the one that bites you is infected. Last month the Public Health Agency of Canada published a report describing the growing risk of tick-related infections in Canada.
