First week of hearings on Bill 21 conclude at the National Assembly

Week one of the legislative hearings into Bill 21, Quebec's secularism bill, has wrapped up in Quebec City. If passed, the proposed law would ban certain public servants from wearing religious symbols. The hearings were heated at times, and heard from people and groups both for and against the bill. CBC Quebec's Spencer Van Dyk has been following the hearings from the National Assembly, and gave us the recap.
