A Brave and Powerful Story of Survival

Daybreak Alberta

A new memoir has just launched from Alberta-born writer, DM Ditson, called "Open Wide." Her book recounts a series of sexual assualts that happened but then she moves into focusing on how she recovered from the resulting PTSD. The book reveals how Ditson's life moved from one of having a sheltered religious lifestyle, to sleeping in Belize with a machete by her side. Author, Alison Pick called the book, "brave and powerful" and Russell sat down with DM in the studio this week-end.
