Photographing animals, researching things in Labrador, and a new transportation link to Quebec

Labrador Morning

On today's podcast, we'll speak with Natuashish photographer Mark Nui about snapping photos of polar bears on the ice over the weekend and also a marine animal that's rarely seen in Labrador. We will engage with the two candidates of Torngat Mountains district. We'll speak with some of the youngest presenters at the Labrador Research Forum. After a winter of closures along the Trans Labrador Highway and disruptions to ferry service, a third transportation link into the Labrador Straits sounds like a refreshing idea. We'll hear how some proposed highway work in Quebec could help Labrador. And we'll talk shows and everything artsy with Chris Ball and Matthew Barrett, managers of the arts centres in Labrador West and Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
