Jonathan Rotondo author, award-winning writer and biplane pilot

CBC News Ottawa

Jonathan Rotondo is an award-winning writer, former Ottawa journalist, and biplane pilot who spent his childhood hanging off airport perimeter fences. His passion for flying comes from his father Antonio who passed away in 2012. After his father died, Jonathan was moved to track down his old, red and white homebuilt airplane that he once owned. He started documenting his journey in a blog which grew into a series of articles and now a new book called Airborne - Finding Foxtrot Alpha Mike. It tells the story about a son's love for his father and the journey to find his lost plane. Watch Adrian Harewood's interview with Jonathan Rotondo on the program Our Ottawa.
