Waswanipi wants to tame dog packs

Many of our communities are facing an overpopulation of stray dogs who roam free, bond, and form packs that can become aggressive. Some communities have implemented dog by-laws to control their dog populations. Waswanipi has had a by-law in place, but they only recently started enforcing it, as of April 24. CBC North host Vincent Georgekish spoke to Jonathan Ottereyes, animal welfare officer, regarding Waswanipi's dog by-law.
