Jon Cornish named to Canadian Football Hall of Fame

The Homestretch

It's the highest honour in Canadian football and former Calgary Stampeders running back John Cornish has just added it to his already impressive resume. Cornish will be inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame later this year, just four years after retiring from the CFL at the age of thirty-one. During his nine years with the Stamps, Cornish won the Lou Marsh Trophy as Canada's athlete of the year, four CFL Most Outstanding Player Awards and two Grey Cups.
