Saskatchewan's Relationship with China

Blue Sky

From Culture to Business and trade relations, Saskatchewan has a long history with China. We heard from Keith Carlson, a U of S history prof and co-curator of a photography show that looks at China through the lens of a Saskatchewan Farmer Evelyn Potter who visited that country in the 70's as part of a delegation. We also talked about current trade relationships with Chris Dekker, from STEP Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership and we got analysis from Colin Robertson, a former Canadian diplomat who served in China and is current vice-president and fellow at the Canadian Global Affairs Institute.
