University students raise funds to plan fruit trees along Meewasin trail

Saskatoon's riverbank could be producing more berries and even some fruit in the coming years. A group of students at the University of Saskatchewan have launched an effort to purchase and plant fruit bearing trees on the riverbank. The project is called "Snackbelt for Sustainability." Jordan Shirley is with the group and he spoke with Saskatoon Morning's Leisha Grebinski.
