Film fans will be out to see the latest in movies as the Calgary Underground Film Festival gets underway for its 16th year and runs from April 22-28, showcasing flicks from all over the world and here at home. One of the Alberta movies has international attention already. "Red Letter Day" is a horror movie set in the suburbs of Aspen Ridge where a recently divorced mother of two receives mysterious letters instructing her and her teenage children to kill the people in their letters before they kill them. "Red Letter Day" is a satire that asks the age-old question: Just how well do you know your neighbours? It's a debut feature from Alberta filmmaker Cameron MacGowan and two of the stars of the film joined Russell in the Daybreak studio.
