Str8 Up releases report outlining a new gang strategy

For decades, gang activity has troubled a number of Saskatchewan communities. Usually police are the ones left to deal with it. Str8 Up says it has recommendations for intervening with gangs... and stopping them from taking hold. The non-profit hopes its report will shape the province's thinking on gangs. Dave Shanks is one of the reports authors and an Associate Director of the Students Commission of Canada. He spoke with CBC's Jennifer Quesnel.
