Senators arrive in Calgary to discuss Bill C-69

The Homestretch

Protesters assembled outside the Sheraton Hotel in Eau Claire today. They were there to rally against Bill C-69, Ottawa's controversial plan to overhaul the review process for new energy projects. Inside the hotel, senators were getting feedback on the bill from energy companies, First Nations and industry experts. The meeting is part of a cross-country tour to help senators make a decision on whether to approve the bill, or make changes. The CBC's Tony Seskus was inside the meetings and at the rally today.
