A new climate change report, this time commissioned by the Environment and Climate Change Department, finds that Canada is experiencing warming at twice the rate of the rest of the world. Floods, severe wildfires and rising sea levels are listed as potential consequences of Canada's warming environment. Coincidentally, the report was made public Monday, the same day that a federal carbon tax came into effect in Ontario, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and New Brunswick.
