Taxi drivers on a province-wide strike against the CAQ's proposed changes to policy

Taxi drivers are striking across the province today. They're protesting the CAQ's new proposed bill regulating the taxi industry, which tears up the existing regulatory framework for taxis and puts a permanent structure in place for ride-hailing apps like Uber. We speak with a striking taxi driver, who says he's still paying off his taxi permit; and George Boussios, the president of Champlain Taxi and the spokesperson for Taxi Grand Montreal
