Shocking unknown history inspires new Winnipeg graphic novel

Winnipeg graphic novelist Jamie Michaels wants to bring a piece of forgotten history to a new generation of Canadians. His new work called "Christie Pitts" follows young Jewish and Italian immigrants as they take on Nazi-inspired thugs in the streets of Toronto in the 1930s. Michaels tells the story to CBC host Ismaila Alfa.
