The new federal budget promises a lot for Canadians - help for seniors who want to do some work to increase their monthly income, help for first-time homebuyers, and help for anyone who wants to plan to upgrade their skills over the next few years. It also includes a package of measures to fight racism and hate. But one promise remains in question: the promise to end deficit spending. We speak with Joël Lightbound, the Liberal MP for Louis-Hébert and the parliamentary secretary to the finance minister.
