Should health insurance cover Vitamin C shots to fight cancer? An oncologist explains

A movement to get Quebec health insurance to pay for Vitamin C shots to fight cancer has garnered more than a hundred thousand signatures in a National Assembly petition... even though there is no definitive scientific evidence that says it works. It's also begun a nasty debate, and some scientists say they've been harassed for speaking out - including pharmacist and science journalist Oliver Bernard, better known as the Pharmachien. We speak with an oncologist at the MUHC to find out whether or not Vitamin C can be helpful for patients battling cancer.
