Former Humboldt Bronco's player Ryan Straschnitzki seeks help from a new therapy that uses electrical stimulation

One of the players paralyzed in the Humboldt Broncos crash, Ryan Straschnitzki, is planning to travel to Thailand in the next couple of months to under a surgical procedure. It is not a cure but it's showing great promise in helping people regain some abilities. It's called epidural electrical stimulation. Uyen Nguyen is a physiotherapist and the executive director of the Synaptic Spinal Cord Injury and Neuro Rehabilitation Centre in Calgary, where Straschnitzki receives physio.
