A Toronto surgeon talks about icy weather, slips and falls, and how to avoid injury in winter

It's been a bad winter for icy and snowy sidewalks in Toronto. And while it may be warming up ... chances are you've had a close call on an icy sidewalk at least once so far this year. The snow and ice are also causing a mess at some hospitals in the city. Doctors at Toronto Western Hospital's Fracture Clinic say they've been dealing with an increase in ice-related injuries. Dr. Timothy Leroux is an Orthopeadic surgeon at the hospital, and he shares some tips on staying upright and injury free.
