Raven problem at Suncor's Fort McMurray site fixed thanks to an owl and a hawk

The Homestretch

Until recently, the Suncor plant in Fort McMurray had a bird problem. To be more specific: they had hundreds of ravens roosting on their oil sands site. Which meant a lot of noise and a lot of poop, so much it became a safety risk. Suncor brought in two experts to deal with the situation: a hawk named Freddy and an owl named Clementine.Stephen Bucciarelli is the owner of Predator Bird Services. We reached him in London, Ontario.
