A treatment method developed for post-traumatic stress disorder is now being used to treat the pain from a broken heart. It's called reconsolidation therapy, and now it's helping those who have suffered from a romantic betrayal. Alain Brunet is a psychologist and professor of psychiatry at McGill, he developed the original therapy and oversaw the study.
