Calgary Police report spike in crime and drug offences near Sheldon Chumir safe consumption site

People who live near Calgary's safe consumption site had a chance to vent their concerns before a council committee today. A recent police report showed a spike in crime and drug-related calls since the site opened at the Sheldon Chumir Health Centre two years ago. Evan Woolley is councillor for the area. His motion to increase public safety was approved by council last week.
