M'Chigeeng radio station is helping to bring back the Ojibwe language

Morning North

It's World Radio Day. That's why we decided to share this story about an interesting radio station on Manitoulin Island. Gimaa Radio in M'Chigeeng is using the airwaves to help bring back the Ojibwe language. One of the hosts is Eric Hare, also know as Waboose. He's a former truck driver and a carpenter. He spoke about the radio station and how it's helping more people understand the Ojibwe language with the CBC's Jan Lakes.
