Food banks suggest basic income one way to help with growing need

The 2018 Hunger Count shows 40 per cent of people using food banks in New Brunswick are children. Single parent families and people 45 years of age and older make up much of the rest of the clientele. Provincial food director Greg Doucet says one option to deal with the rising need could be basic income.
