Why one parent camped out for three days in the cold outside Edinburgh Elementary School

Some parents hoping for kindergarten spots in some English public schools spent the weekend camping out in front of the school to secure a coveted spot in the school. That has always been the traditional at schools like Royal Vale, but this year saw other schools getting into the mix, with more than a dozen parents in Montreal West camped out in their cars outside Edinburgh elementary. We speak to two parents: Michael Cope, who waited outside for three days to get his five-year old son a spot in the school; and Michael Rodger, a parent who also serves as the chair of the governing board there.
