Exiled Venezuelan family watches protests closely from new home in Canada
As two rival presidents jockey for power in Venezuela, the country's military and security forces are caught in the middle. The opposition says they took an oath to defend the constitution and restore democracy. Nicolas Maduro says their duty is to obey him as their commander-in-chief. This has led him to hunt for what his government calls coup-plotters within the military, and some of their families have ended up in exile here in Canada.
