Canada's spot between a rock and a hard place in the battle over Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou has grown a little more snug, all because of comments made by Canada's Ambassador to China. The U.S. wants Canada to extradite Meng who was arrested at Vancouver's airport last month. China wants Canada to release her. And now Ambassador John McCallum has volunteered his thoughts on how Meng might avoid extradition.
