The Dinner Party group aims to make grief less isolating

Saskatoon Morning

Grief can be isolating. That's why an organization out of Los Angeles started something called The Dinner Party. It's a support group for people dealing with loss or grief, geared toward people in their 20s and 30s. The Dinner Party helps like-minded people connect with local hosts. The first such gathering in Saskatchewan was hosted in Saskatoon earlier this month. A second is being planned for February. Rob Braid hosted that dinner party here in Saskatoon, and Justin Thongsavahn, a representative from The Dinner Party, joined us from the L.A. headquarters.
