Drumheller plans to replace damaged dinosaur statues
The Homestretch
Drumheller is famous for its dinosaurs. Hundreds of thousands of fossils have been found in the area. It's also home to more than two dozen large dinosaur statues scattered through the town. They aren't remotely realistic. In fact, they look more like cartoons. Three of those statues were damaged this past summer. The town plans to replace them this spring. Marley Henneigh is with the Drumheller DinoArts Association. She joined host Doug Dirks on the line from Drumheller.
