Daybreak Montreal

CBC's Nantali Indongo tells us about Tia and Piujuk, a movie being screened at Cinéma Moderne. It tells the story of two little girls: Tia, a 10 year old Syrian girl who is having a hard time adapting to life in Montreal with her parents. She's a bit lonely, and misses her grandmother back in Syria - and then she finds a magical portal that brings her to Igloolik, in Nunavut. There, she meets an Inuk girl - Piujuk who's spending her summer camping on the seashore with her grandma and dog.
