Alberta announces new money for opioid detox programs in Lethbridge

The Alberta government has announced new support to help fight whats being called an opioid crisis in Lethbridge. The city will get a new $11M housing complex for homeless adults with substance abuse issues. Another $1.6M will mean 30 new intox spaces in the city. Environment Minister Shannon Phillips made the announcement today. Chris Spearman is the mayor of Lethbridge and joined host Doug Dirks on the phone.
