Quebec Solidaire divided over question of religious symbols in public service

Quebec Solidaire has decided to take a fresh look at its position on religious symbols in the public service. The current position states that individuals in positions of coercive authority such as judges, police officers and prosecutors should not have religious symbols... but there is deep division at the grassroots level. We speak to Jason Phelps, a social worker and psychotherapist based in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, and member of Quebec Solidaire calling for change.
