The Ontario Child Advocate's Office provides a voice for at risk children and youths, including those in the foster system, the youth criminal justice system and Indigenous children. The provincial government announced they will be closing the office to cut costs, which has some who work in the sector concerned. We speak to Rachel Birnbaum, a professor at King's University College who teaches about the intersection of law and social work.
