What do coffee, a new library, and an independent drug store all have in common?

The first thing that stands out about the new and instantly iconic Calgary Central Library is the architecture, but that's not all. The food concession didn't go to a big chain like Starbucks or even an emerging local powerhouse like Phil & Sebastian or Cafe Rosso. Instead it went to Luke's Drug Mart, which only started selling coffee a handful of years ago. Guest host Paul Haavardsrud visited Lukes Cafe at the new library to find out how third-generation drug store proprietor Gareth Lukes and his partner, local chef Eric Hendry, landed in a such a high-profile spot.
